In Support of Arts

Photo Talk TV has always believed that the arts — and photography in particular — play a vital role in how we understand the world around us. Through our interviews with photographers, we hope to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the visual arts.

Why the Arts Matter

Arts education fosters critical thinking, problem solving, and emotional intelligence. Studies consistently show that students engaged in the arts perform better academically, develop stronger communication skills, and are more likely to participate in civic life.

Photography, as both a fine art and a documentary medium, teaches us to look carefully — to slow down and truly observe. It builds empathy by asking us to see the world through another person's eyes.

On Creativity

"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep."

Scott Adams

"The creative adult is the child who survived."

Ursula K. Le Guin

"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."

Maya Angelou

Supporting Local Arts

Over the years Photo Talk TV has covered events like FotoFest, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and exhibitions at the Camera Obscura Gallery — one of the world's oldest fine-art photography galleries. We believe in shining a light on the communities and institutions that keep the arts alive.

If you are an educator, curator, or photographer who would like to be featured on Photo Talk TV, we encourage you to reach out. Every story told helps build a richer visual culture for all of us.
